Abstract:
The article discusses the main trends in the market of genetic material of dairy cattle breeding in Russia. An assessment of the volume and dynamics of this market over the past 12 years has been carried out. Key strategic actions that cattle breeding companies should take to increase their efficiency and competitiveness have been identified. In dairy farming, more and more attention is being paid to genetic material, which is a key factor in breeding. In today's competitive environment, successful business in the agricultural sector requires advanced technology and new methods to increase the productivity of dairy cattle. The article discusses the introduction of new achievements in the field of genetics, domestic equipment and software, because they can become guarantees of the future strengthening and development of the industry in the face of sanctions. Critical solutions are presented. Without these solutions, the development of the industry is currently impossible. However, the challenges for the dairy cattle industry remain significant.
These include the need to ensure high quality genetic material, improve the reproductive ability of animals, optimize the artificial insemination process, as well as upgrade and modernize infrastructure and equipment. The article suggests key strategic actions that will allow companies to ensure their competitiveness in the genetic material market. An integrated approach to the application of advanced technology in the field of genetics is emerging; investments in domestic equipment and software updates are the main components of successful activities in the agricultural sector. The development of the genetic material market in dairy cattle breeding plays an important role for the agricultural industry as a whole. In order to guarantee the successful future, breeding companies should strive to introduce advanced technology, use genetic advances and increase animal productivity.
