Аннотация:
В статье рассматриваются теоретические и практические вопросы измерения и применения экономической сложности на субнациональном уровне. Представлен обзор наиболее заметных исследований в данной области с учетом методических особенностей применения подхода на уровне регионов. Рассматриваются сильные и слабые стороны теории экономической сложности. Особое внимание уделено наиболее важным и сложным методическим вопросам, относящимся к инструментарию измерения экономической сложности, а также применения данного похода на субнациональном уровне, учитывающих сложности формирования системы базы данных и ее обработки. Выявлены особенности применения подхода к российским регионам, предложена группировка производств и секторов для обоснования стратегий развития, механизмов и инструментов их отраслевой политики

Abstract:
The article deals with theoretical and practical issues of measurement and application of economic complexity at the subnational level. A review of the most notable studies in this area, taking into account the methodological features of the approach at the regional level, is given. The strengths and weaknesses of the theory of economic complexity are considered. Particular attention is paid to the most important and complex methodological issues related to the tools for measuring economic complexity, as well as the use of this campaign at the subnational level, taking into account the complexity of the formation of the database system and its processing. The features of the approach to the Russian regions are revealed, the grouping of industries and sectors is proposed to justify the development strategies, mechanisms and tools of their sectoral policy.
