Singapore after Lee Kuan Yew: the harbor of stability despite expectations of experts and new successful steps into the future

Abstract:
The article presents the reasons for the unjustified forecast of the collapse of Singapore's role as a stable regional and global center of financial activity after the death of Lee Kuan Yew in 2015. Features and vectors of new economic development, specificity of plasticity of the state's prosperity model in the conditions of global economic crisis are designated. The forecast of development of the island for 2020-2045 is given taking into account features of changes in society of Singapore and growth of foreign investments from Southeast Asia, the South Pacific region and other countries of the world. An example of effective operational work of social elevators as a basis of civil society and a guarantee of preservation of national capitals within the state is shown.
