How regional agricultural organizations are making use of digital technology

Abstract:
In the conditions of intensive development of production and processing of agricultural products, qualitative changes in the technical and technological level of the agro-industrial complex, the active development of digitalization of the economy, the introduction of digital technology into the management and social business processes of agricultural producers is of particular importance. Digital technology acts as a driver of sustainable development not only of the company but also of the region as a whole. At the same time, in order to develop truly effective measures for the introduction of new technology, it is necessary to first assess the level of digitalization of agricultural producers, and then propose measures for digital transformation. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of digital technology application in regional agricultural organizations. The study analyzes the technical equipment of agricultural producers of the Omsk region and the digital technology they use. The main problems and limitations for the introduction of digital technology in the agro-industrial complex are identified. The conducted research will allow to classify agricultural producers according to the level of technical equipment and the level of applied digital technology, which will provide a differentiated approach to digital transformation.
