Work standardizing as an element of effective enterprise management in modern conditions

Abstract:
The research results within the framework of the regional theme of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk region are presented. The particularities of work standardizing at agro-industrial enterprises in the region of various climatic zones and economic conditions were studied. The survey results of work standardizing in the livestock industry are highlighted. The validity of the applied labour standards was assessed. In the organizations studied, the methodological materials on the definition of labour standards and norms in work standardizing and their compliance with the existing reference and regulatory documentation for the normalization of labour processes by types of work in agricultural sectors were analyzed. To study the work standardizing process, an analytical and research method of motion-and-time study was used. The necessity of taking into account the norm-forming factors when conducting observations on the implementation of the technological process to justify the definition of labour standards and norms is shown. The necessity of taking into account the full set of factors of work standardizing is substantiated. In this connection, the results of the observations made are presented. The research results made it possible to identify shortcomings in the planning and organization of labour processes and in the establishment of norms and standards. Those shortcomings have the following negative results: unproductive working time losses, cost increase, a distortion of performers’ labour productivity. This ultimately negatively affects the enterprise’s results as a whole. Possible ways to eliminate the problems are given. Recommendations on work standardizing at agro-industrial enterprises are given.
