Abstract:
In the modern conditions of higher education, the intellectual capital of universities becomes one of the key factors of competitiveness and innovative development. The article examines the concept of intellectual capital of a university, including its main components: human, structural and relational capital, as well as their interrelation in educational, scientific and innovative activities. Special attention is paid to the ecosystem approach, which promotes the integration of the university into an innovative environment, the expansion of networking with business, government and society, and the improvement of the efficiency of knowledge and technology transfer. The influence of the ecosystem approach on the formation of intellectual capital is analyzed. The article examines the elements of the innovation policy of leading universities, which occupy leading positions in the international ranking "Three University Missions". The directions of improvement of the university innovation policy, taking into account the development of the ecosystem of intellectual capital, are substantiated. This implies the creation of favorable conditions for scientific and technical cooperation, business activity and transformation of the educational process for the development of human capital. The results of the study confirm that the ecosystem approach forms a modern model of university development, focused on long-term strategic leadership and increasing the socio-economic impact of scientific, educational and business activities of the university. The article may be of interest to specialists involved in higher education development, those responsible for strategic planning in universities, researchers and academic staff studying intellectual capital, innovation ecosystems and innovation policy of universities.
