Assessing Significance of Factors of Regional Investment Risk

Abstract:
The article outlines a conceptual approach to assessing the significance of factors of regional investment risk. Using the E-Views software package, the author builds regressions of fixed investments and foreign investments with the set of explanatory variables. Among these variables the author has identified factors that have a major impact on investment flows into different regions of Russia. Among the factors identified, a special attention is paid to the information environment of the region as an important parameter of investment attractiveness, which requires a further development.
