Abstract:
The development of resort and recreational areas of the Republic of Crimea, and in particular the Western region of the Peninsula, contributes to the formation of competitiveness at the national and world levels of tourism products and services through the effective use of natural and recreational potential. The authors give a recreational characteristic of the resort and recreational zone of the Western Crimea. The article gives the definition of "resort and recreational areas", the conceptual design of the scheme of recreational planning of the Western Crimea, which in turn is advisable to divide the region into resort and recreational areas to create an effective infrastructure of the resort of European and world level. More detail on the main types of use of the territory of Western Crimea functional areas (the Resort Saki, Kurortopolis "Evpatoria", the Resort "Mirny", Resort "Okunevka", the Resort "Olenevka", the Resort complex "Chernomorskoye", Resort and recreational zone "Baikal spit", Agricultural-residential areas, Resort and recreational zone "Portovoe").
