Abstract:
The study discloses the role of labour for development of humans and the society. The creative character of labour is shown. Authors disclose the essence of the double character of labour. Other disciplines that study the role of labour are named. The issue of what moves the human and calls for the selfless labour in different historical periods of the social development is addressed. The material may be used by students and lecturers during the study of the course “Economics and Sociology of Labour”.
