Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the issues related to the classification and appraisal of the budget risks of the federal budget, as well as to the connection thereof with the sustainability of the federal budget. The relevance of this problem lies in the fact that a number of budget risks in 2014–2016 have come true. The realization of the budget risks is critical for the sustainability of the federal budget and is able to make a considerable impact on future budgets. In this connection special attention is to be paid to detection and evaluation of the budget risks, as well as to the development of measures to mitigate the budget risks of the federal budget. The research results obtained in the article will be useful in further studies of the problems of the sustainability and balance of the federal budget and of the lower level budgets. It may also be interesting to scholars studying individual aspects of the efficiency of the state financial policy.
