Abstract:
The minimum wage is one of the guarantees established by the legislation in the field of remuneration not only in Russia, but also abroad. The problem of substantiating mechanisms for their establishment is relevant, since low minimum wage affects both the employee and the economy of the country as a whole. The article analyzes approaches to setting the minimum wage in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as its relationship with the main indicators of socio-economic development. In recent years and to date, no detailed studies in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the experience of establishing minimum wage guarantees have been conducted. The dynamics of the ratio of the minimum wage to the subsistence minimum and to the average wage are presented; positive and negative trends are revealed. The article is of interest to specialists in the field of remuneration.
