Abstract:
The article presents an interpretation of the notion of regional economic space, shapes the reasons for its polarization and defines the role of industrial districts in achieving sustainable development (by the example of the Republic of Tatarstan). The writers express the idea that uneven regional economic space caused by the influence of innovations can be a source of growth.
