Abstract:
The article examines special features of valuation of marine vessels as one of the economic objects considered to be an immovable property. The author analyzes the purposes and motivation of ship owners in assessing the ship value, taking into consideration the reasons for purchase or sale and the factors of "aging" of these objects of immovable property.
