Abstract:
The article analyzes the current trends in the global sugar market, as well as the structure of sugar exports from Russia and by importing countries in 2018. The place and role of Russia in the world sugar market is determined. We consider the ten largest daily capacity of sugar factories in Russia (more than 7 thousand tons per day) of the 2016/17 season. 4 forecast tables are presented: forecast of the top 10 sugar producers in the 2018/19 season; forecast of the top 10 sugar consumers in the 2018/19 season; forecast of the top 10 sugar importers in the 2018/19 season; forecast of the top 10 sugar exporters in the 2018/19 season.
