Abstract:
The article presents the results of a comparative study of awareness of citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan about social entrepreneurship, their attitude to this type of business, and its impact on the socio–economic situation in the countries. The analysis was carried out on the basis of published materials of country studies, as well as the sociological survey conducted by the authors. The similarities and differences in the perception of social entrepreneurs in Russia and Kazakhstan, the level of influence on the economy of both countries are described. The article also provides reasoned advantages and disadvantages of this type of business organization. The article describes the history and background of the emergence of social entrepreneurship, as well as its regulatory design in the form of a bill in Russia and Kazakhstan.
