Abstract:
Purpose: at this stage of development of the modern community, the interdependence of the evolving “knowledge economy” on the acquisition and awareness of a knowledge system in economics is immeasurably great. Considering the “knowledge economy” as a set of its main components, that is “knowledge” and “human capital”, the fact of their binary functional dependence is obvious. Based on this fact, established in the course of the study, it is possible to represent this interdependence both in the present and in the predicted future, defined as short-term and long-term hypothetical scenarios of their development. Materials and methods: the presented research in the context of the methodology of its organization, implementation and determination of results is a comparative (comparative) analysis of theories, concepts and main directions on the subject matter in the system of scientific knowledge. The research field is the interconnection space of such logical series as: 1 – Knowledge Economy [knowledge – economy – knowledge economy]; 2 – Knowledge in economics [knowledge category of “economics” – the essence, structure and content of knowledge in “economics” – knowledge of the basic laws, principles and functions of “economics” – knowledge of the means, techniques, methods and technology “economy”]. The results of their research and give grounds for the main conclusions.
Results: the article presents the results of a retrospective analysis of the «knowledge economy» and knowledge of the economy. The goals and objectives of the interaction of these concepts in the context of an innovative economy and prognostic concepts in knowledge and economic interpretation are defined and studied. Conclusions: the set of conclusions, which is the main conclusions on the research topic, makes it possible to argue that, firstly, both the “knowledge economy” and the knowledge of the fundamentals of the economy itself in the context of comparative analysis are a single complex of components of the development of the world community; secondly: for their uniform development, “distortions” in the systems of their evolution and disruption of connections between elements are impossible; thirdly: for a positive and decent development of Russia, a complex of urgent research is needed in the context of integration and the “knowledge economy”, and the general economic literacy of the population for the progressive development of these components of the modern system of scientific knowledge.
