Abstract:
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation and evaluation of the added value of products in the aluminum industry on the basis of the dynamically developing concept of value chains. The essence of the concept is considered, the basic theoretical and methodical approaches of its formation are allocated. It is noted that value chains are a tool for assessing the actors in the chain, to assess the degree of control of participants. The analysis of the features of value added determined the production of aluminum as an example of vertically integrated, monopolized, producer-driven chain that allows small and medium – sized enterprises to integrate as an innovative link - a "mini-center" for the development and commercialization of R&D. The authors propose a methodological tool for assessing the added value of enterprises, including structural and effective indicators, and allowing in making decisions regarding their inclusion in the aluminum network.
