Abstract:
In the context of transition of the Russian economy to innovative development, the revival and transformation of high-tech enterprises have a high priority. The stability of their strategic development is largely determined by the efficiency of economic and financial activities and by performance of enterprise’s strategic management system. The article defines the main characteristics of high-tech enterprises, reveals the distinctive features of the system for assessing the efficiency of strategic management of high-tech enterprises, namely, innovative, scientific-technological and intellectual potential. Based on the analysis of methods used in the world practice, we develop a system of key performance indicators for high-tech companies. The system proposed in the work takes into account specific features of the current status and development of high-tech enterprises and makes it possible to assess the efficiency of their economic and financial activities and management on an interrelated basis of financial and non-financial indicators. Its practical application will allow high-tech enterprises to create an information base for strategic decision-making that ensure the competitiveness of enterprises and, as a consequence, determine their sustainable development.
