Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of factors affecting the formation of the level the region's self-sufficiency in food. We pay special attention to characteristics of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the North Caucasus Federal District and the issues of ensuring its food security, as well as identifying promising areas for ensuring food security.
