Abstract:
The article examines the peculiarities of the assessment and management of agrarian risks in the region. Using SWOT-analysis we reveal the main risks in vegetable production in the Southern Federal District. Using the method of analyzing hierarchies, we made rankings of the reasons for the inefficient development of vegetable production in the Rostov region. As a result of the research, we’ve revealed that is the gaps in the legal regulation, the low level of management and administrative barriers are the main problem of inefficiency in the development of vegetable production in the region. Ineffective marketing and insufficient control and accounting of stocks and resources are among management factors of inefficient development of vegetable production in the region.
