Abstract:
In the Republic of Bashkortostan (hereinafter - RB) all changes in the demographic development have led to a significant population and labor force reduction. The main reason is the ongoing outflow of the population. The analysis of the youth labor market situation, including RB youth labor market, shows that regional and Russian problems are identical on the whole. These problems include high unemployment rate among graduates, first job problems, low wages, unattractive working conditions and, as a result, the migration of highly skilled professionals from the republic.
The article presents the results of labor resources reproduction research. We examine the elements of population change and conduct the analysis of the age structure and migration causes. We show the increasing role of academic migration in the development of the regional labor market. We conclude that the academic migration retains an important role in meeting the regional labor market needs.
