Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the preconditions of appearance of a new direction in logistics – global logistics. The peculiarities of introducing this business concept in the activities of manufacturing enterprises in separate units of the supply chain have been explained. Functions of global logistics, as well as the tendencies of its development have been discussed.
