Abstract:
The authors discuss the possibilities of a complex approach as for the use of gravitational and cartographic analysis methods of a region’s spatial development. The use of the gravitational method only has not enabled to perform an objective grouping of the municipal districts of the Republic of Buryatia that have been used for trial of these methods. Therefore, the authors have supplemented the result processing instruments with cartographic methods, which has enabled to specify the structure of groups and to visualize the data.
