Abstract:
The authors attempt to identify the role of transformational social shifts in the process of a progressive development of the domestic higher school. The authors have theoretically substantiated that higher education as a sophisticated sub-system is predetermined by a complex of subjective and objective factors and, in its turn, it considerably influences on the state of the whole society. Also a direct dependence of the practice-oriented range of problems of Russian higher school modernization on the cultural and historical experience of formation and the current social-economic stage of transformation of our society is shown. Special attention is paid to the analysis of disharmonic tendencies in reforming of the domestic higher education as a realization of contradictions of patch (im)balance of up-and-down transformation of the strategy and tactics of social life. The authors have made a forecast concerning the consequences of balance discontinuity between the state of higher education and development vector of modern Russia. This deforms functional direction of the material basis and distorts the possibilities of “spiritual sanitation” of the higher school. The material presented in the article will be of interest to a broad circle of readers, first of all, to the professionals dealing with the issues of of higher school reforming.
