Abstract:
Sustaining growth and further development of the economy are important tasks that Khabarovsk region is to solve. In this connection, the solution of the problems complicating the development of entrepreneurship in the region is important. The task of balanced development of small- and medium-sized business and establishment of joint venture companies together with the countries of Asia-Pacific Region (APR) has become prioritized. Economic crisis and embargo resulted in narrowing of the export markets. This makes local business turn their attention to the local markets where there is a need for import substitution.
