Modeling manager's praxeological activity in connection with criteria and conditions of its effectiveness Abstract

Abstract:
Praxeology is defined as the study of human practice, with a particular focus on human activity in the context of rational decision making. Examining the praxeological activity of managers through the lens of management theory represents a significant area of inquiry in contemporary scholarship. This focus not only enhances the effectiveness of organizational management, but also fosters the development of innovative concepts and methods within the field. In this article, the authors present a novel concept of the praxeological activity of managers, based on an analysis of existing scientific approaches to praxeology. This concept emphasizes the criteria and conditions necessary for effective managerial practice. An expanded set of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of a manager’s praxeological activity was developed, which includes effectiveness, productivity, accuracy of decision-making, goal orientation, reliability, quality, and ethical considerations. The authors’ model of managerial praxeological activity illustrates the managerial influence exerted by the manager, acting as the subject of management, on the managed entity, which may include the organization, its personnel, or the manager's own actions. The expected result of such influence is increased efficiency of personnel performance, improvement of the manager’s own effectiveness, and overall increase in organizational efficiency. The article will be of interest to theorists and practitioners involved in improving the efficiency of company and organization management, as well as to anyone interested in modern management and human resource management practices.
