Abstract:
The development of the Chinese labor market is particularly acute, since at the present stage the Chinese labor market is developing more slowly than other sectors of the economy.
The article analyzes the trends in the development of the labor market on the example of the largest cities in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing. This study seems relevant because the number of able-bodied population in large cities is increasing. The problem of unemployment in Chinese cities is particularly acute for young university graduates.
The authors of the article identify the main trends in the employment of the able-bodied population of Chinese cities and, based on the experience of solving employment problems, determine the directions of labor market development.
It is concluded that it is necessary to update problematic issues of the use of labor resources, taking into account the assessment of the use of labor resources in Chinese cities.
The materials of the article can be used by academic staff, graduate students, masters and students studying such courses as "World Economy", "World Economy and International Economic Relations", "Regional Economy", as well as specialists who deal with labor resources in the countries of the world.
