Abstract:
The article examines Singapore's participation in production fragmentation chains based on the structure of foreign trade, indicators of international trade of individual commodity groups, and national industrial production. It is shown that Singapore has achieved significant economic growth over the last 4-5 decades. The main economic indicators affecting Singapore's participation in production fragmentation chains are analyzed. It is shown that in the analysis of the components of the production chain of the final product, regionally distributed, and in the assessment of the participation of countries in global supply chains, both national foreign trade statistical databases and information bases of international organizations and open analytical ratings are used. The analysis of economic indicators made it possible to form a scheme representing a number of directions of Singapore's production fragmentation chains. It is concluded that the participation in Singapore's production fragmentation chains was facilitated by a well thought-out state trade and industrial policy in relation to national production and its operational diversification.
