Abstract:
The article deals with the problem of creating a typology of varieties of digital inequality as a phenomenon of the digital economy, leading to an increase in social and economic differentiation of the population. An analogy is drawn between the modern digitalization of society and the economy and the creation and expansion of writing. The article substantiates the position that, like writing, digitalization is a end-to-end social technology that penetrates into all types of economic activity. Based on the review of the scientific literature on digital inequality, the types of digital inequality are distinguished. The typology of digital inequality is proposed as an object for further discussion.
