Impact of crisis situation in Russian economy on volume of foreign trade of regions of the Russian Federation

Abstract:
Purpose of the research is to study geographical directions and structure of foreign trade of regions of the Russian Federation and changes resulting from the crises of 2008-2009 and 2014-2015. In researches topic of foreign trade is revealed only at the state level, not at the level of specific regions, or attention of such studies is given only to the political factor and its role in development of regions. Analysis of the Federal customs service showed that the crisis of 2008-2009 and the crisis of 2014-2015 differently affected the volume of foreign trade of the Russian regions. In addition, differences were found between dynamics of imports and dynamics of exports both in Russia as a whole and in individual regions.
