Abstract:
This article discusses the problem of determining the essence of the "diaspora" concept and presents key approaches to understanding this phenomenon. Particular attention is paid to the classifications of diasporas, which have different grounds for the allocation of certain types of the studied phenomenon. The purpose of this article is a thorough review of diasporas for a comprehensive understanding of their specific qualities and features of functioning.
