Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the resource potential of the population of older demographic age from the perspective of increasing the efficiency of its use in professional activities as a labor resource of the country in terms of raising the retirement age. The authors consider the possibility of more effective use of intellectual and professional potential of older demographic age. Physical, cognitive and socio-psychological features of this category of workers from the position of multi-scientific approach are considered. The data of empirical studies are presented and the points of view of specialists in the field of Economics, medicine, sociology and psychology are considered. The authors prove the possibility of effective use of intellectual and professional potential of workers of senior demographic age. On the basis of the analysis recommendations on the effective use of the resource potential of older people in professional activities are formulated.
