The analysis of modern methods of solving this social problem. Conclusions: some diseases and postoperative periods require radical solutions to promote normal functioning of the body and maintain health. The also the cancer in some cases is the only solution and man must accept and learn to live. Stomy in Oncology is a serious surgical solution, aimed in most cases to ensure that the products of life from the intestine or bladder can be displayed independently outside. In some cases, this hole is created to stabilize the work of the hollow organ and the possibility of access to it during treatment. The first entry also, which has been documented is the essay about the surgeon Letra from 1710. In the future, with the development of medical technology and pharmacology, the creation of the stoma has ceased to be a critical surgical intervention for the patient. To date, the presence of such an audit hole with proper care is not an obstacle to a full life, work, even limited sports. The intestinal stoma itself is not considered a disability. Disability is mainly caused by diseases that require such a solution. At the same time, lack of awareness and lack of necessary psychological training can be the main causes of stress and depression in stoma patients in the postoperative period. Modern medicine makes it possible to avoid many inconveniences associated with the stoma. Thanks to the means of rehabilitation, the patient can not think about the emergence of problems in public places, at work and at home. Application. the findings and results of the study can be used in the development and construction of modern methods and techniques of rehabilitation of cancer (stoma) patients and their subsequent integration into an active social and working life.
