Abstract:
The digital transformation of the economy creates serious challenges for the educational system. The need for the formation and use of digital skills requires the adaptation and development of new forms of development of digital reality. One of the modern resources to enhance economic growth is the organization of a system of continuous professional education and motivation of the population to actively update knowledge and the formation of popular competencies. As part of a joint research project of the Institute of Labor of the Ministry of Labor of Russia and St. Petersburg State University "Social attitudes and dispositions of the population of the Russian Federation in relation to new forms of employment: subjective assessments", a number of results were obtained, including the identification of attitudes of the working population to education "through life". The authors considered the readiness of the working population to study, the possibility of obtaining a new profession both in the age section, and in the spheres of professional activity, and other aspects; a number of conclusions and recommendations that can be used in the formation of continuing education programs that support adult employment were substantiated.
