Аннотация:
Статья обосновывает стремление к экономической автономии и автаркии как ее крайнему проявлению как естественное направление национального экономического развития. Раскрыты факторы, обуславливающие тенденцию к автаркии наряду со стремлением к свободе торговли и разделению труда. Дана характеристика факторов, способствующих отказу от свободы торговли. Сделан ряд предположений относительно возможных последствий усиления автаркических тенденций в мировой экономике и политике.

In defense of autarky as a modern way of national economic development

Abstract:
The article justifies the pursuit of economic autonomy and autarky as its extreme manifestation as the natural direction of national economic development. The factors driving the trend to autarky, along with the desire for freedom of trade and division of labour are revealed. The characteristic of the factors contributing to the abandonment of free trade is given. A number of assumptions regarding the possible consequences of strengthening autarkic tendencies in the world economy and politics are made.
