Abstract:
Purpose: the main purpose of this article is to study the economic aspects of scientific and technological progress and its impact on macroeconomic processes in the context of intellectual capital. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following problems: to study foreign experience of intensive economic growth taking into account the increase in labor productivity and factors of production; to analyze the scientific and innovative cycle to assess the opportunities for intensive economic growth. Materials and methods: when writing this article, methods of scientific cognition, a method of comparative analysis, a method of system analysis, a graphical method for presenting the results obtained, a method of generalizing and systematizing theoretical concepts were used. results: the article deals with the economic aspects of scientific and technological progress and its impact on macroeconomic processes. Characteristics of technical and technological cycles are given. The Japanese and Chinese experience of innovative development is presented. The essence of the scientific and innovative cycle as a socio-economic random process is shown. conclusions: the materials stated in the article show that in order to stimulate scientific and technological development in the Russian Federation, first of all, it is necessary to create a longterm motivation for the development of intellectual capital. as the management of large companies and personnel. The article substantiates that the future growth and social welfare of Russia will depend on high-tech industries and services. The modern scientific and technical policy of Russia should be developed taking into account the strategic breakthrough in fundamentally new areas of innovation, technology and science.
