Abstract:
The article presents the results of a sociological study of working life quality, level of satisfaction with employment and employment problems of conducted by the authors in the city of Irkutsk. The respondents were employed and unemployed citizens, constituting the economically active population of the city. The authors present the results of an expert survey of representatives of employers and specialists of bodies on work and employment on the issue of effective employment of the population. Based on these data, we have defined parameters of working life, determine its quality, and the comparative analysis of the significance of these parameters for different subjects of labor relations. Comparison of the ranked lists, obtained from the survey of employers and employees organizations, found significant differences in the views of employers and employees about the importance of the parameters that shape the quality of working life, as well as in the assessment of the level of quality of work life at the organizational level. In addition, the dynamics performances of the economically active population about the risk of losing their jobs, and are considered the preferred strategy of search of work. Special attention is paid to the discussion of the factors restraining the growth of quality of working life of Irkutsk. Revealed the opinion of the economically active population on the work of the state employment service of the population, and also their intention to appeal to its agencies for services in the field of assistance of employment.
