Abstract:
The article considers non-standard employment as the form of labor relations that differ from normatively established standards, the criteria for different types of employment can be classified as non-standard. The reasons for the spread of precarious work in the Russian labor market are analyzed, among which structural changes in the economy with the dominance of services, the distribution of small businesses in this area, and the withdrawal of the large part of entrepreneurs into the informal sector of the economy are highlighted in connection with the optimization of labor costs. The authors statistically confirm the trend of the inverse relationship between the reduction of employed in small business and the growth of informal workers, which necessitates the development of measures aimed at improving the conditions of small business in the country as the factor of precarious work reduction.
