Abstract:
The article analyzes the impact of globalization processes on national and regional innovation systems, including universities. In this regard, the external challenges to national universities are considered, their role in the development of modern economic processes is determined. The main factors influencing the organizational structure and functioning of the university are described. The influence of a new factor on the development of the modern university – international cooperation is substantiated. The authors suppose that universities form an analytical and methodological basis for the development of clustering processes and polymorphic regional institutional transformations. In addition, universities are actively involved in their scientific and technological products in the emerging new value chains, participate in the struggle for international financial flows in education, science and technological development. The article reveals the problems of the university development in the social and economic conditions of Ugra.
