Abstract:
The article analyzes the relationship between the phenomena of human capital and social security. The subject field of both concepts is designated. On the basis of already existing approaches to definition of social security, and also taking into account existing terminological uncertainties, the own definition of this phenomenon, based on the economic nature of the social system, is formulated. The phenomena of human capital and social security are considered as manifestations of the reproductive mechanism of society, taking certain features in the specific external and internal conditions of the socio-economic system. Considered in dynamics, the relationship between the categories of human ability to work, the possibility of realizing this ability, provided by society and the completeness of the final satisfaction of human needs, creates the basis for dialectical approach to the analysis of the phenomena of human capital and social security. The research methodology includes the comparative review of literature, theoretical analysis, systemic and institutional approaches.
