Abstract:
The article analyzes the living standards of the working population by the example of wages. Examining the levels of nominal and real wages, the dynamics of labor productivity and the availability of “poor” workers we conclude that the participation of workers is necessary, both in improving labor productivity and in increasing wages. The living standard will not be increased by cash handouts, at the heart of its growth lays a more efficient economy. The general interest and participation of workers and employers in the process of improving the economic situation will ensure the development and improvement of social partnership in the labor remuneration.
