Abstract:
WorldSkills Russia movement embraces more and more participants, in recent years higher education institutions have also joined it. In the Republic of Tatarstan, cooperation between construction colleges and University of Architecture and Engineering is carried out within the framework of a scientific and educational cluster. Since 2016, the staff of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering have become active participants of the WorldSkill movement. Active participation in the administration of university staff participation in the WorldSkills movement made it possible to identify positive aspects both for university students and for the university itself. The obtained results will be useful for universities considering the participation in the WorldSkills movement and for students willing to acquire applied skills.
