    Abstract:
    The monograph considers the issues aimed at addressing the current problems of the residential real estate market. The material presented by the monograph reveals the specifics of international housing research and new segments, development of which is relevant in the Russian Federation. We analyze international journals reflecting the results of housing research; we also analyze the infrastructure for research development in the field of residential environment development. We give recommendations for the development of social housing as a tool for social well-being of the population. The authors pay special attention to development of practical recommendations on the creation and development of the rental housing market. The monograph is intended for students and graduate students of economic universities, experts in residential real estate and for all those interested in the development of the residential real estate market.
