Аннотация:
В статье рассматриваются основные характеристики кинорынка Китая, особенности кинопроизводства и кассовых сборов, государственного контроля и цензуры, тенденции и перспективы. Определены основные факторы, влияющие на возможность кинопоказа иностранных фильмов в Китае. Рассмотрены причины, сдерживающие взаимодействие российских кинематографистов с китайскими дистрибьюторами и представлены рекомендации.

Abstract:
The authors discuss the main characteristics of Chinese movie market, especially, filmmaking and box-office, state control and censorship, tendencies and prospects. The main factors influencing on the possibility of screening of foreign movies in China have been pointed out. It has also been touched upon the problems in the interaction of Russian moviemakers with Chinese distributors. Certain recommendations have been provided.
