Abstract:
The authors have studied the methods for the improvement of tools for management of the region's sustainable development; the existing dissimilarity of natural resources of the regional economic space has been analyzed. The author has evaluated the effect of dissimilarity of social and economic development of municipal entities on the regional social and economic system as a whole. The connection between the development stages of the spatial and economic research in our country with stages of social and political development has been revealed. The special emphasis is laid on calculation of the percentage of the discrepancy between municipal districts and urban districts on the one side and the calculated weighted average value on the other. The article is dedicated to expansion of knowledge about tools for managing the region's sustainable development. The material of the article will be of interest for the persons developing certain suggestions to change the level of social and economic development in municipal entities included into this or that region.
