Abstract:
The article examines the potential applications of plant cell cultures in various economic sectors, including agriculture, food production, and biotechnology. The research purpose was to analyze the prospects of using plant cell concentrates in various economic sectors, identify key application areas, and evaluate their economic potential. The authors demonstrated the value of using cell concentrates in agriculture, the food industry, and pharmaceuticals. A methodological framework for assessing the economic potential of cell concentrates in Russian agriculture is suggested. This framework is based on econometric modeling and SWOT analysis. The research was conducted through a morphological analysis of scientific publications, company reports, and statistical data on the production and application of plant cell concentrates. Empirical evidence was derived from market data on plant cell concentrates. The results show that an original methodology has been developed to evaluate the economic potential of using plant cell concentrates in agriculture. Calculations were performed to estimate the economic impact of introducing plant cell concentrates into Russian agricultural production. This research advances scientific knowledge by developing theoretical approaches and creating a methodological apparatus for evaluating the economic potential of biotechnologies. It also substantiates the practical relevance of implementing plant cell concentrates and formulates recommendations for state agri-policy. The analysis revealed that plant cell concentrates have significant potential in agriculture, the food industry, and pharmaceuticals. Specifically, they can increase crop yields significantly, improve food product quality, and facilitate the development of effective new medicines. The economic effect of implementing plant cell concentrates is estimated at tens of billions of rubles annually, provided technological and market barriers are successfully overcome. Key obstacles include high production costs, lack of standardized product quality standards, and limited access to distribution channels.
