Abstract:
With the rapid development and implementation of digital technologies, transformation processes have affected all segments of the economy, including the fashion industry. Digitalization processes in the fashion industry have changed all value creation processes by optimizing the processes of designing and creating patterns, managing supply and distribution chains, and implementing processes of interaction between producers and consumers of goods and services. The article examines the main segments of the fashion industry, their role and tasks in the development of the fashion industry. The global trend towards the creation of a sustainable industry as a set of actions aimed at preserving the environment, ensuring safe working conditions and economic development is highlighted. The article examines the business transformation characteristics of leading companies in the fashion industry, identifies the directions and advantages of applying the most common digital technologies. The article is of interest to businessmen, scientists, and fashion industry professionals who are interested in creating business models for companies in the digital economy.
