Development of an inclusive labor market amidst digitalization

Abstract:
The article examines the impact of digitalization on the labor market and the possibilities of attracting people with disabilities for employment. The main trends and approaches to promoting the involvement of people with disabilities in employment have been identified. The barriers of the external environment that limit the opportunities for greater employment have been studied. It is indicated that a non-inclusive education system, a lack of suitable jobs, negative attitudes of employers, lack of support in employment after graduation and low motivation negatively affect the promotion of employment and further employment of people with disabilities. The universal digitalization of the economy makes information technologies accessible and ubiquitous, and their adaptation contributes to greater involvement of people with disabilities in the labor market, thereby increasing the likelihood of full realization of their labor potential.
