Abstract:
The monograph contains a complete and up-to-date presentation of the most important issues of digital transformation of banking activity, introduces the reader to the key trends observed in the modern banking system in Russia and abroad. The basic theoretical approaches are considered and the essence of digitalization of economic relations is highlighted, the state policy in terms of stimulating the introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the activities of credit institutions and their clients is analyzed. The main focus is on the adaptation of digital technologies in the operational activities of commercial banks and their interaction with the client. The monograph presents an original interpretation of the prerequisites for the formation of new business models (banking ecosystems, neobanks, banking as a service), contains a description of domestic and foreign experience of digitalization of banking. For students, researchers in the field of banking, as well as economists working in the management bodies of commercial banks. The monograph will be useful to a wide range of readers interested in digitalization of banking.
