Abstract:
The article presents a statistical analysis of the state, dynamics and key structural changes in the technological development of the real sector of the Russian economy. Based on open source data, it is shown that the technological potential of the Russian economy, which was formed in the period from 2000 to 2010, had exhausted itself by the beginning of 2015-2016. The technological potential necessary for the growth of the Russian economy is not being replenished at the moment. The article reflects the main reasons for the technological lag of the Russian economy. The solution to this problem can be found through institutional and structural economic reforms.
